real life
the things that have been taking up my time, the non-work, non-school, non-non things, are ephemeral, fleeting. sunsets. weddings. camping and damp mornings, emerging from a tent on the beach, in a redwood grove. rental cars, over and over. ikea furniture, the entire process of it. breakfasts. evil plans that are not so evil. mysterious bug bites. it is autumn, finally, and how autumnal it is. i just want to catch these moments, momentarily. if i could have one superpower, it would be to stop time.
disappointment
